Converse University

Nelson is in her second year as the graduate assistant coach for the Valkyries Swim Team. 

Originally from Augusta, Ga., Nelson swam competitively at UNC Asheville from 2015-2019.  Nelson's primary events were in the Backstroke, Breastroke and the Individual Medley. Nelson swam competitively for a total of 17 years and has 10 years of coaching experience through CSRA Summer League and Aiken-Augusta Swim League. 

Nelson graduated with a BS in Biology in 2019 from UNC Asheville and she is currently working on her Masters in Teaching Secondary Biology.
