2022-2023 (Senior): At the King invite, placed 33rd in the 50-yard free event...At the Lenoir-Rhyne tri-meet, finished 7th in the 100-yard breast event, and 8th in both the 200-yard free and the 200-yard breast events...Against Chowan and Mars Hill, placed 4th in the 100-yard breast event and in the 50-yard free event...Against King, finished 4th in the 200-yard breast event, 5th in the 50-yard free event and 7th in the 100-yard free event...At the midseason invite, placed 7th in the 100-yard breast event, 8th in the 200-yard breast event and 13th in the 50-yard free event...At the second Lenoir-Rhyne tri-meet, finsihed 8th in the 200-yard breast event and 9th in the 100-yard breast event...Against UNC Pembroke, finished 5th in the 100-yard breast event and 7th in the 100-yard fly event...Finished 16th in teh 200-yard breast event at the Conference Carolina Championships. 

2021-2022 (Junior): A midseason addition to the Valkyries swim team, Purinton's first collegiate meet was against Brenau...Purinton finished the Brenau meet with a 2nd place finish in the 200-yard breast event, a 4th place finish in the 100-yard breast event and a 5th place finish in the 100-yard free event...Did not advance past prelims at the Conference Carolinas Championships. 

Prep: Swam 4 years at Spartanburg High School and was part of the 2019 5A State Runner-Up Team...Swam club for YSSC Spartaquatics...Outside of swimming, was President of Interact Club and National Technical Honors Society...was a member of National Honors Society and Beta Club.
