Biography
Honors: 2026 Third Team All-Conference (200 Free Relay), Conference Carolinas Swimmer of the Week (1/14/26)
2025-2026 (Freshman): In her first season at Converse, Guevara finished with 564.85 points, ranking third on the team and 31st in Conference Carolinas...Helped the 200 free relay team finish third at the Conference Carolinas Championships...Helped the 200 medley relay team finish fourth overall at the Championships, helped both the 400 free relay team and the 400 medley relay team finish fifth overall at the Conference Carolinas Championships...Individually, finished fifth overall int he 100 fly event at the Conference Championships, eighth overall in the 50 free event and 11th overall in the 100 free event...Set a personal best time of 26.39 seconds in the 50 fly event against Emmanuel (1/10/26), set a personal best in the 200 fly with a time of 2:17.58 (10/18/25), and set a personal best in the 100 IM with a time of 1:04.11 (10/30/25).
Prep: Competed for Long Beach Polytechnic High School and the Long Beach Poly Girls Aquatics Swim Team...In 2023 helped the 200 free relay team to a time of 1:38.73 and in 2024 helped the 400 free relay team to a time of 3:33.35...Also made it to the CIF Southern Section....Won the Coaches Award and Most Valuable Swimmer Award....Outside of athletics, was an honor roll student and received the Seal of Biliteracy (AP Japanese).
Personal: Is the daughter of Manuel and Maki Guevara...has one sister named Mao.
