2022-2023 (Senior): At the King Invite, placed 12th in the 200-yard IM event....At the Lenoir-Rhyne tri-meet, placed 2nd in the 200-yard breast event and 4th in the 100-yard breast event...Against King, placed 2nd in both the 50-yard free and the 200-yard breast events...At the midseason invites, placed 3rd in the 200-yard breast event and 4th in both the 100-yard breast and the 200-yard IM...At the second Lenoir-Rhyne tri-meet, won the 100-yard breast event with a time of 1:13.67, finished 2nd in the 200-yard breast event and 6th in the 200-yard IM event...Against UNC Pembroke, placed third in the 50-yard free and the 100-yard breast events...At the Conference Carolina Championships, placed 8th in the 200-yard IM, 11th in the 200-yard breast stroke and 13th in the 100-yard breast stroke event.

2021-2022 (Junior): At the King Invite, placed 18th in the 200-yard IM, 22nd in the 200-yard free and 33rd in the 100-yard free event... Against Catawba and St. Andrews, placed 3rd in the 200-yard IM event...Against Columbia College and Pfeiffer, won the 200-yard IM event with a time of 2:22.65...Did not advance past prelims at the midseason invite...At UNC Pembroke meet, placed 4th in the 50-yard free event, 5th in the 100-yard breast event and 5th in the 200-yard IM event...Against Brenau won both the 100-yard breast and the 200-yard IM events, while also finishing 4th in the 200-yard free event...At the Conference Carolina Championships, placed 13th in the 100-yard breast event, 14th in the 200-yard free event and 16th in the 200-yard IM event.

2020-2021 (Sophomore): At the King Invite, placed 5th in both the 200-yard free and the 500-yard free events....Against Brenau won both the 100-yard free and the 200-yard free events...Against UNC Pembroke, placed 2nd in both the 100-yard free and the 200-yard free events and 3rd in the 200-yard IM event.

2019-2020 (Freshman): In her first collegiate meet, placed 5th in teh 200-yard breast event and 13th in teh 100-yard fly event at the King Invite...At the Converse Invite, Mitic won the 100-yard free event and finished 2nd in both the 50-yard free and the 200-yard free events...Against Columbia College (S.C.) and Mars Hill, placed 2nd in both the 100-yard free and 200-yard IM events, while placing 3rd in the 200-yard free event...Did not advance past prelims at the midseason invite...Against Brenau and Columbia College, Mitic placed 2nd in the 50-yard free event and 3rd in both the 100-yard and 200-yard free....Finished 10th in the 200-yard free event at the Conference Carolina Championships. 

Prep: graduated from Svetozar Markovic in 2019. 

Personal: is the daughter of Grozdan and Slavica Mitic. After college, Jovana plans to stay in the United States.
