2024-2025 (Senior): Finished her senior season ranked second on the team and 24th in Conference Carolinas with 598.10 total points...Competed in eight total meets this season for the Valkyries and capped off her senior season with a third place finish in the 100 back stroke event at the Conference Carolinas Championships...At the Conference Carolinas Championships, Byrne helped the 400 free, 200 free and 400 medley relay teams to fourth place finishes...The senior also helped the 200 medley relay team to a fifth place finish at the Conference Championships....Individually, Byrnes finished fourth in the 200 back event and fifth in the 400 IM event at the Conference Carolinas Championships...At the Centre Speedo Midseason Invitational, Byrnes helped the 400 free and 400 medley relay teams to a pair of third place finishes...Individually, Byrne's won the 100 back event (58.61 seconds), finished second in the 200 back event and ninth in the 200 IM event.Â
2023-2024 (Junior): Began the season with a pair of second-place finishes in the 50-yard back (29.62) and the 100-yard back (1:03.77)SB, and helped the 200 medley team B to a second-place finish at the King Meet… In the second meet of the season against Barton, Byrne had a pair of third-place finishes in the 100-yard back (1:05.04) and in the 200-yard back (2:20.55), a sixth-place finish in the 50-yard free (28.26), and helped the 400 medley team to a first place finish… At the second meet against King, Byrne had a second-place finish in the 200-yard back (2:28.26), a third-place finish in the 100-yard IM, a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard free (2:10.61), and helped the 200 Medley Relay team B to a second-place finish… On day one of the mid-season Invitational, Byrne helped the 200-free relay team A to a fourth-place finish and helped the 400-medley relay team b to a sixth-place finish… On day two of the mid-season Invitational, Byrne helped the 200 medley relay team A to a first-place finish, the 800 free relay team to a second-place finish… On the final day of the mid-season Invitational, Byrne had three fourth-place finishes in the 200-yard back (2:14.53)SB, in the 200 IM (2:18.63)PB, and in the 100-yard back (1:02.00)SB, and helped the 400 free relay team B to a fifth-place finish. … On day one of the first tri-meet of the season against Lenoir-Rhyne & Wheeling University, Byrne had a second-place finish in the 100-yard back (1:05.42), a third-place finish in the 50-yard back (29.40), and helped the 200 free relay and the 200 medley relay teams to first-place finishes... On day two of the tri-meet against Lenoir-Rhyne & Wheeling University, Byrne helped the 400 free relay team A to a second-place finish, a third-place finish in the 1000-yard free (12:03.97), a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM (2:30.17), and finished the tri-meet with a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard back(1:06.91)... In the final home meet of the season, Byrne had a first-place finish in the 50-yard back (29.66), a pair of second-place finishes in the 50-yard breast (36.68) and the 400-yard IM (5:10.06), and helped the 200-free relay team B to a first-place finish... On day one of the Conference Carolinas Championships, Byrne helped the 200 medley relay and the 800 medley relay teams to third-place finishes… On Day two of the Conference Carolinas Championships, Byrne helped the 200-free relay team to a fourth-place finish… On Day three of the Conference Carolinas Championships, Byrne helped the 400 medley relay team A to a second-place finish… On day four of the Conference Carolinas Championships, Byrne had a ninth-place finish in the 200-yard back (2:11.70)PB, and a sixth-place finish in the 400 IM (4:55.40)PB...
2022-2023 (Sophomore): Opened the season with a 23rd place finish in the 200-yard IM event at the King Invite...Placed 6th in the 1,000-yard free event at the Lenoir-Rhyne Tri-Meet, also placed second in both the 100-yard back and the 200-yard back event at the same meet...Also helped the 200-yard free relay team to a second place finish...At the first home meet of the season, Byrne finished 1st in the 100-yard back event with a time of 1:05.05 and finished third in the 400-yard IM event....During the King meet, Byrne helped the 200-yard medley relay team to a victory and individually won the 100-yard backstroke event with a time of 1:04.87...On day one of the midseason invite, Byrne hleped the 400-yard medley relay team to a second place finish....On day two of the midseason invite, Byrne finished third overall in the 100-yard backstroke event and helped the 800-yard relay team to a victory...On Day 3 of the midseason invite, Byrne finished third in the 200-yard backstroke event....Against UNC Pembroke, Byrne helped the 400-yard medley relay team and the 400-yard free relay team to a pair of second place finishes....Individually, Byrne finished third overall in the 100-yard freestyle event...At the Conference Carolinas Championship meet, Byrne plaece 12th overall in the 200-yard freestyle event, 16th overall in the 100-yard backstroke event, 16th in the 200-yard backstroke event and she also competed on every relay team for the Valkyries. Â
2021-2022 (Freshman):Â In her first collegiate meet, Byrne finished 16th overall in the 1,650 free event, 21st in the 100-yard back event, 18th in the 200-yard back event and 19th in the 400-yard IM event...In her first home meet, Byrne won the 1,650 free event with a time of 19:58.07 and finished second overall in the 100-yard back event with a time of 1:04.17...At the midseason invites in Charlotte, Byrne placed 24th overall in the 1,650 free event and 27th in the 200-yard back event...Aganist UNC Pembroke, Byrne finished 6th overall in both the 50-yard free and the 100-yard breast stroke events. The freshman also finished second in the 200-yard back events with a time of 2:21.78...In her final two regular season events, Byrne won both the 100-yard back and the 200-yard back events...At the Conference Carolinas Championships, Byrne finished 9th in the 1650 free, 13th in the 100-yard back and 14th in the 200-yard back.
