Prep: At Spartanburg Day School, was an honor roll student, the senior class secretary, a member of chorus, and was on the Year book staff... Mallen also won the Spanish award... She can speak German fluently and took a gap year to work as a nanny in Germany. 

Personal: Is the daughter of Michael Mallen and Christine Faulstich...Has two sisters Elisabeth and Lara.
