Prep: Competed for GEIEG, Atletisme Calonge, CA Canovelles...Ran a 10:02 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase...Helped the team win a Cross Country Regional Championship and was also a member of the Catalan Athletic Team.  

Personal: Is the son of Xavi and Montse Ruiz Barreda.
