Honors: 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team
2024-2025 (Sophomore): Finished 15th on the team this season and 82nd overall in Conference Carolinas with 471.30 points...Competed in eight meets this season...At the Conference Carolinas Championships, finished 15th in the 100 breast event...At the Centre Midseason Invitational, Schlichtmann competed in the preliminary rounds.
2023-2024 (Freshman): Began the season with a fifth-place finish in the 50-yard breast (33.63), had a pair of sixth-place finishes in the 50-yard free (29.01)PB and the 100-yard breast (1:13.01), and helped the 200 medley relay team A to a second-place finish… In the second meet of the season against Barton, Schlictmann had a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard breast (2:46.53), a seventh-place finish in the 100-yard breast (1:14.19), an eighth-place finish in the 50-yard free (28.50)PB, and helped the 400 free relay team B to a third-place finish... At the second meet against King, Schlictmann had a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 50-yard breast (34.55) and the 200-yard breast (2:46.95), a sixth-place finish in the 50-yard free (28.35)PB, and helped the 200 free relay team B to a third-place finish… On day one of the mid-season Invitational, Schlictmann helped the 400 medley relay team B to an 11th-place finish and helped the 200 free relay team B to a 12th-place finish… On day two of the mid-season Invitational, Schlictmann helped the 800 free relay team B to a ninth-place finish and helped the 200 medley relay team B to an 11th-place finish... On the final day of the mid-season Invitational, Schlictmann had a tenth-place finish in the 200-yard breast (2:42.16)PB and a 16th-place finish in the 100-yard breast (1:12.83)… On day one of the first tri-meet of the season against Lenoir-Rhyne & Wheeling University, Schlictmann had a sixth-place finish in the 50-yard breast (33.37), a seventh-place finish in the 100-yard breast (1:14.22), helped the 200 medley relay team A to a fifth-place finish, and helped the 200 free relay team B to a sixth-place finish... On day two of the first tri-meet of the season against Lenoir-Rhyne & Wheeling University, Schlictmann had a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard breast (1:13.15), a pair of seventh-place finishes in the 200-yard breast (2:43.38) and the 200 IM (2:36.65)PB… In the final home meet of the season, Schlictmann had a pair of first-place finishes in the 50-yard breast (31.28)PB and in the 100-yard breast (1:09.23)PB, helped the 200 medley relay team A to a first-place finish, and helped the 200 free relay team A to a second-place finish... On day two of the Conference Carolinas Championships, Schlictmann helped the 200 free relay team B to a ninth-place finish… On day three of the Conference Carolinas Championships, Schlictmann helped the 400 medley relay team A to an eighth-place finish… On day four of the Conference Carolinas Championships, Schlictmann had a first-place finish in the 100-yard breast (1:06.02)PB, an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard breast (2:26.32)PB, a 16th-place finish in the 200 IM (2:24.06)PB, had a 14th-place finish in the 100-yard free (48.16)PB, and helped the 400 free relay team B to a tenth-place finish…
Prep: Was a three sport athlete for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, competing on the swim team, baseball team and soccer team...Was a two-year captain of the baseball team and a one-year captain of the soccer team, also earned the leadership, coaches, and most improved award on the swim team...Also competed on the Rutherford County and Forest City Swim Teams.
Personal: Is the son of Erik and Mavis Schlictmann...has four sisters, Marjorie, Madeline, Adrienne and Abbie...Mother played volleyball at the UNC Wilmington in the early 1980s.
