2024 (Freshman): Helped the Valkyries to a Runner-Up Finish at the Conference Carolinas Championship...Finished 11th overall at the Young Harris Opener and set a new 6K PR with a time of 19:13.7...Finished 76th at the Converse Kick-Off (27:23.3)...Finished 17th at the Sand Shark Invitational (26:49.4)...Finished 31st at the Conference Carolinas Championships and set a new 8K PR with a time of 26:46.8...Finished 63rd at the NCAA Southeast Regionals and set a new 10K PR with a time of 33:13.4.

Prep: Competed on both the Cross Country and Track & Field teams...set personal records in the 5k - 16:25, 3200m - 9:41, 1600m - 4:25, and 800m - 2:00...Porter was an All-Region Athlete and won the Upper State Champion in the 1600 meter event...graduated Summa Cum Laude.  

Personal: Is the son of Stephen and Sarah Porter...has two sisters named Shauna and Paige.
