Trisha Osborne

Trisha (DiMatteo) Osborne comes to Converse University after spending the last 2 years in Madison, Wisconsin working within an orthopedic surgeon’s office. Prior to her time in Wisconsin, she spent 7 years at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA working primarily with NCAA D1 Men’s Ice Hockey while also serving as an adjunct professor within the Sports Medicine Department. A native of Wellington, Florida, Osborne, has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2015, Trisha earned her Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. After graduation she started her athletic training career in Maryville, TN at Maryville College. 

More recently, she earned her Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) degree in Dec 2022 from Florida International University. During her education she was a doctoral research assistant in the Florida International University Global Initiative for Cannabinoid Research & Education. Her doctoral capstone project investigated the global perception and awareness of the DAT degree.

In Summer 2022, she worked with USA Football Women’s Tackle Team earning a gold medal with the team at the IFAF World Championships in Vantaa, Finland.Â
