Springer is in his second year on the Converse Men's Basketball Staff.
In his first season as an assistant coach, Springer helped coach Perry guide the Valkyries to a 12-15 overall record and a 8-12 Conference Carolinas record. Jordyn Surratt became the fourth Valkyrie named to an All-Conference team this season. This past season Converse broke five individual game records, six team game records, three individual season records and two team season records.
Springer comes to Converse after spending the last two seasons at Wingate University. As a member of the Bulldogs coaching staff, Springer helped Wingate to an overall record of 34-24 with an NCAA Tournament Appearance in his first season. Prior to his time at Wingate, Springer was an assistant coach for the District Basketball Club and was a student manager for the UNC JV Basketball team.
