Converse College
2020-2021 Visiting Team Information
Dear Fellow Athletic Trainer:
Welcome to Converse College, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. While you and your team are on our campus the athletic training facility, and all of our equipment, will be accessible to you. The athletic training facility is located on campus, outside of the gym in Weisiger. A certified athletic trainer will be available for all home events, and the athletic training facility will be accessible to you.
Due to Covid-19, there is no access to the athletic training facility for pregame preparation. A taping/treatment table will be provided outside the visiting team locker room for your use. Athletic training staff remains committed to providing normal sideline water (cooler, cups, injury ice/bags/wrap), though institutions are encouraged to bring individual water bottles.
If your team is traveling without a certified athletic trainer, please notify us prior to the event, so we can prepare to accommodate their needs. We require a letter/email from a certified athletic trainer detailing all tapings, bracing, etc.
Converse College Athletic Training will supply your team with:
- 10 Gallon cooler of water
- Cooler of ice, bags and flexi-wrap
- Emergency equipment (splints/AED/crutches) will be on the home sideline
