2017-18 (Freshman):

 Played in 27 games as a freshman ... known as a three-point shooter, knocking down 25 on the season ... tallied 46 boards as a guard ... picked up 14 steals on the defensive end of the court ... knocked down 4-of-5 threes against Bob Jones on 11/13, while recording a career-high 13 points.

PREP:

Attended Oakbrook Prep ...averaged 19.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game ... For her efforts this season Sides was selected All-State and All-Region ... She was also selected to the Georgia/South Carolina All Star game, the East/West All Star game, and the FCA All Star game ... As a junior Ashley was selected Region Player of the year and the SCISA 2A State Player of the Year ... Sides is a three-time All-Region and All-State selection as well as a two-time All-Upstate team selection ... Sides scored over 1000 points in her three-year career at Oakbrook Prep.

1. Question: Would you rather be able to control the weather or talk to animals?

    Answer: I would rather talk to animals so I could know if my dog really hates me or not.

2. Question: Which of these do you have the most of: sense of humor, sense of time, sense of adventure, or common sense? Why?

    Answer: sense of adventure because I love to go to new places, meet new people, and try different things.

3. Question: What is your biggest fear?

    Answer: Not being good enough or failing.
