Converse Notes
- Converse is coming off an 8-9 2025 season and an appearance in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament.
- The Valkyries were picked to finish fifth overall in the SAC preseason poll and were slated just ahead of Coker and Barton.
- Chelsy Bunse was named a Player to Watch by both the SAC and the NFHCA. Joining Bunse on the SAC Players to Watch list was Alina Puentes, Edith Swaan, Autumn Kern and Brooke Burgin.
- Last season the Valkyries scored 47 goals, took 257 shots and 160 shots on goal. The Valkyries also tallied 38 assists, 80 saves and 124 penalty corners.
- Swaan returns as the Valkyries top offensive threats after she tallied 16 points, 6 goals, 4 assists, 44 shots and 27 shots on goal.
- Alina Puentes is the top goaltender returning for the Valkyries this season. Last season, Puentes started nine games and tallied 31 saves and a .674 save percentage.
Coker Notes
- Coker is 0-1 this season and is coming off a 6-1 loss to Frostburg State on Sunday afternoon.
- Angelina Belosio, a former Converse Field Hockey Player was the lone scorer for the Cobras on Sunday afternoon. Skylar Ponik and Amelia DiBattista were the two other players to attempt a shot for Coker.
- Frostburg State outshot Coker 17-3 overall and 13-1 in shots on goal. The Cobras played both Kylie Campbell and Zahira Ferreyra in goal this past weekend.
