The Series
This will be the sixth all-time meeting between Converse and Wingate dating back to the 2023 season. The Bulldogs are 4-1 all-time against the Valkyries and have won the last four meetings in the series.
Converse Notes
- Converse is coming off a 5-0 win against Coker on Wednesday evening. The Valkyries win against the Cobras was their 10th straight win in the series.
- As a team the Valkyries outshot Coker 23-4 overall and 13-1 in shots on goal. Converse attempted 14 corners and only needed to make one save on Wednesday evening.
- Edith Swaan scored a hat trick against the Cobras while Brooke Burgin and Vania Toranzo each scored a goal in the win.
- Sol Garcia Berro finished with a pair of assists in the win, while Ashley Shoffner, Chelsy Bunse and Carmen Heisterkamp each added an assist.
- Camille Hordies and Alina Puentes both split time in the cage on Wednesday evening and recorded the first shutout of the season.
Wingate Notes
- Wingate is 0-2 overall this season with losses to IUP and Frostburg State. The Bulldogs were outscored 7-0 in their first two games.
- Wingate has currently attempted 12 total shots and 5 shots on goal this season. The Bulldogs have made 16 saves and attempted eight penalty corners this year.
- Jenna Derouaux leads the team with three shot attempts this season and Grace Gerner is second on the team with two shot attempts.
