SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Due to an upcoming winter storm watch across parts of nine states in the southeast, several Converse University athletic programs have modified their weekend plans. They are listed below:

• The men's and women's basketball games versus Francis Marion originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24 have been postponed to Thursday, Feb. 12.
• The men's and women's swim meet versus Columbia College originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25 has been postponed to Monday, Feb. 2.
• The men's and women's track & field teams' participation in the VMI Invitational scheduled for Jan. 23 and 24 in Lexington, Virginia has been canceled.
• The women's tennis exhibition match at Presbyterian College originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24 in Clinton has been canceled.
• The women's lacrosse scrimmage at Wingate University originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24 in Wingate, North Carolina has been cancelled.
• The development men's basketball game at Newberry College originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25 in Newberry has been canceled.
