GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced their weekly swim awards on Wednesday morning, Converse University senior swimmer Louis Milczynski was named Male Swimmer of the Week for his efforts in the pool this past week.
 
Milczynski helped the Converse men's swim team defeat Emmanuel 191-71 on Saturday afternoon. The senior finished with a trio of wins and a runner-up finish against the Lions. Individually, Milczynski won the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 51.70 seconds, he then won the 100 yard individual medley event with a time of 53.46 seconds. His lone runner-up finish came in the 50-yard butterfly event with a personal best time of 23.14 seconds. As a member of the 200 yard medley relay team, Milczynski helped the team to a first place finish with a time of 1:33.15.   
 
Milczynski and the rest of the Converse swim team will be back in action this weekend at King and Lenoir-Rhyne.
