Findley Rakes in Awards at Annual CSC Convention

ORLANDO – Converse University Assistant Director of Digital Media Camryn Findley hauled in a total of 13 awards in the annual College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest. 

“I knew last summer when we hired Camryn that we were getting one of the best up-and-coming graphic designers in college athletics,” Director of Athletic Communications William Meyer said. “Over the last year, Camryn has been instrumental in transforming the Converse brand into what it is today. I can’t wait to see how she will build on this success for the upcoming academic year.”

Findley’s graphic celebrating Catalina Pistaccio’s 100th career point finished runner-up in all of Division II in the individual awards milestone and record graphics category. The graphic also placed third overall in the college division which is made up of NCAA Division II, III and NAIA institutions. 

Findley’s graphic celebrating cross country athletes Lauren Beatty and Alain Flores winning the Young Harris meet, finished fourth overall in the Division II individual awards and milestone graphics category and finished fifth overall in the college division.

Rounding out her entries into the individual awards milestone and record graphics section, the 4x100 relay team graphic celebrating the teams top time in the nation placed eighth in Division II and 11th overall in the college division. 

In the major awards and championship graphics section of the contest, Findley’s graphic for Mackenzie Day’s Third Team All-America honor ranked 10th in Division II and 22nd in the College Division. Findley’s graphic for Mackenzie Day winning Defensive Player of the Year ranked 15th in Division II. 

Findley’s Women’s Lacrosse poster ranked seventh in all of Division II and 16th in the college division. 

In the motion graphics/special projects section of the contest, Findley’s motion graphic for Mackenzie Day breaking the school’s all-time digs record placed ninth overall in Division II and 21st overall in the college division.
