GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) national office announced their annual Academic At-Large All-District Team, Converse University had six athletes named to the list this year.
Ellie Lim (Delaware, Ohio) is a sophomore biology major with a 3.94 grade point average. Lim competed in eight tournaments this season for the Converse golf team. The sophomore was named to the Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team following a top-10 finish at the Conference Carolinas Championship. This is her first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Reagan Collins (Spartanburg, S.C.) is a senior accounting major with a 3.76 grade point average. Collins played in 15 games and made 14 starts this season for the Converse lacrosse team. Collins became just the second player in program history to record 500 career saves and 20 wins. This is also the third time the senior has been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Samantha Sparks (Cazenovia, N.Y.) is a junior interior design major with a 3.55 grade point average. Sparks is a First Team All-Conference selection for the Valkyries lacrosse team this season. The junior started in all 15 games and led the team in ground balls (33) and caused turnovers (27). This is her second time being named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Catalina Pistaccio (Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a senior business administration major with a 3.76 grade point average. The three-time All-American led the Valkyries field hockey team back to the postseason for the fifth straight season. Pistaccio concludes her career as the all-time leader in points (121), goals (47), assists (27), total shots (243), shots on goal (149) and game-winning goals (12). This is her third time being named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Caroline Blair (Penfield, N.Y.) is senior history major with a 3.92 grade point average. Made 12 starts for the Valkyries field hockey team as she helped lead them back to the postseason. Finished her senior season with a trio of goals, two assists and eight points. This is her second time being named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Lara Toranzo (Lima, Peru) is a child and family studies major with a 3.64 grade point average. A team captain for the 2024 season, Toranzo helped guide the team back to the postseason for a fifth straight year. Toranzo finished her senior season with a pair of assists and a pair of points. This is her first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
