GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced their weekly swim awards on Wednesday morning, Converse University senior swimmer
Louis Milczynski was named Male Swimmer of the Week for his efforts in the pool this past week.
Converse went 2-0 this past weekend with a pair of wins over Barton (215-70) and Chowan (223-63). Individually, Milczynski won the 200 individual medley event with a time of 2:00.19 and finished runner-up in the 100 breaststroke event with a time of 58.95 seconds. As a member of the Converse A relay teams, Milczynski helped the Valkyries to a pair of wins in the 400 free relay and the 400 medley relay.
Milczynski and the rest of the Converse swim team will be back in action tomorrow night inside the Montgomery Student Center against King University. The meet is set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
