The Series:
This will be the fourth meeting between Converse and Mars Hill since the 2018 season. The Lions have won three matchups, including a sweep in Spartanburg last season against the Valkyries.  
 
Converse Notes:

• The Converse volleyball team is off to their best start in over a decade, going 3-1 this past weekend against Valdosta State, Erskine, Winston-Salem and Rollins.
• The Valkyries are averaging 11.9 kills per set this season, 11.1 assists per set, 1.7 aces per set, 19.6 digs per set and 1.7 blocks per set.
• Alysha Arroyo was named Conference Carolinas Specialist of the Week for her performance on the court. Arroyo leads the team with 77 assists and is second on the team with 49 digs.
• Megan Carpenter leads the team with 38 kills, Noemia Chiacchio is second on the team with 34 kills and Ariel Bryant is third on the team with 23 kills.
• Jayden Johnson is second on the team with 46 assists and 6 service aces. While, Chiacchio is first on the team with 10 aces.
• Mackenzie Day currently leads the team and Conference Carolinas with 90 digs this season. Tori Barr and Alayah Robertson are both tied for the team lead with seven blocks each on the year.  

 
Mars Hill Notes:

• Mars Hill is 2-2 overall on the year with wins over Glenville State and Bowie State.
• The Lions are averaging 10.77 kills per set, 10.15 assists per set, 2.38 service aces per set, 15.54 digs per set, and 1.46 blocks per set.
• Jada Cannon leads the team with 24 kills, Katilyn Grant is second on the team with 23 kills, and Skylar Ogden is third on the team with 20 kills.
• Alyssa Kornegay leads the team with 42 assists, while Converse transfer Mackenzie Schmucker is second on the team with 38 assists.
• Laela Jimenez is first on the team with 59 digs, Cannon is second on the team with 27 digs and Schmucker is third on the team with 18 kills.
• Grant leads the team with eight blocked shots and Nikkayla Stewart is second on the team with six blocked shots.
