The Valkyries are a perfect 4-0 against the Railsplitters, and they have outscored Lincoln Memorial by a combined score of 29-1 over that time span. Converse Notes
- Converse was picked to finish fifth in the South Atlantic Conference Preseason Poll this year. The Valkyries went 8-10 overall last season and 6-8 in SAC competition.
- For the third straight season, Converse University senior forward Catalina Pistaccio was named to the SAC Preseason First Team.
- The two-time All-American led the Valkyries last season in goals (11), assists (8), points (30), total shots (66) and shots on goal (34).
- Emily Whitlow returns for her senior season following a breakout season during her junior year. Whitlow finished second on the team with six goals.
- Remington Lewis finished third on the team last season with three goals, while Kilee Bradeen finished third on the team with four assists.
- Alina Puentes is the Valkyries lone starting goalkeeper with playing experience from last season. Puentes started six games and made appearances in eight total matches. Puentes made 24 saves on 51 total shots faced a season ago.
- The Valkyries this season have a great mix of both experienced and young talent. The senior class will be looking to win their third SAC Championship in four years and cement themselves as the winningest class in program history.
Lincoln Memorial Notes
- Lincoln Memorial was picked to finish near the bottom of the preseason poll, following an 0-18 season last year.
- The Railsplitters have lost 23-straight matches dating back to the 2022 season.
- Haley White led the team last season in goals (3), total shots (18) and shots on goal (13).
- Olivia Rosini led the team with three assists last season and seven total points. Rosinin finished second on the team with a pair of goals.
- Ana Carney started 16 games in goal last season for the Railsplitters and made 205 saves on 323 shots faced. Carney allowed 69 goals and finished with a .748 save percentage last season.
