The Series:
This will be the 19^th all-time meeting between Converse and Southern Wesleyan dating back to the 2011 season. The Warriors won the first 11 matches in the series and hold an all-time record of 11-7 over the Valkyries. However, Converse has won the last seven meeting in the series dating back to the 2019 season. Last year, Converse defeated Southern Wesleyan 3-1 on their home court.   
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 8-3 overall this season and 2-0 in Conference Carolinas action this year. The Valkyries are off to their best start since the 2006 season, when they start the season 10-4.
• The Valkyries have won nine straight sets dating back to the Central State game on September 14^th. The last time the Valkyries won at least nine straight sets was between October 4^th – October 9^th of the 2013 campaign. The last time Converse won 12 straight sets was during the 2006 season.
• Converse is coming off a weekend sweep of Chowan and Barton this past weekend. The Valkyries have not started 2-0 in Conference since the 2022 season.
• The Valkyries are averaging 12.4 kills per set, 11.3 assists per set, 1.9 service aces per set, 19.8 digs per set and 1.8 blocks per set.
• The Valkyries 19.76 digs per set currently ranks fifth nationally in Division II, and their 810 total digs ranks ninth nationally.
• Mackenzie Day currently ranks second in the nation in digs per set (6.34) and third in the nation total digs (260).
• Noemia Chiacchio is currently ranked seventh nationally in service aces (27) and 15^th nationally in aces per set (0.66).
• Chiacchio leads the team with 122 kills this season, Ariel Bryant is second on the team with 95 kills, and Megan Carpenter is third on the team with 83 kills.
• Alysha Arroyo leads the team with 250 assists and Jayden Johnson is second on the team with 133.
• Ariel Bryant is second on the team with 152 digs, Chiacchio is third on the team with 123 digs and Arroyo is fourth on the team with 112 digs. Tori Barr leads the team with 32 blocks, and Alayah Robertson is second on the team with 25 blocks.

• Southern Wesleyan is 3-3 overall this season and they have won their last three games dating back to September 11^th.
• The Warriors are coming off a 3-0 sweep of Coker on Saturday afternoon.
• Southern Wesleyan is averaging 11.1 kills per set, 9.9 assists per set, 1.4 aces per set, 15.5 digs per set, and 1.3 blocks per set.
• Karson Haley leads the team with 64 kills, Angel Jimenez is second on the team with 42 kills, and Sarah Mitchell is third on the team with 27 kills.
