The Tournament:
This is the first time in program history the Valkyries are traveling to the Mountain State to compete in the University of Charleston Invitational.  
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 4-1 this season and off to their best start in over a decade. The Valkyries are coming off a five-set reverse sweep win over Mars Hill on Tuesday evening.
• The Valkyries are averaging 12.2 kills per set, 11.6 assists per set, 1.6 aces per set, 21.5 digs per set and 1.8 blocks per set.
• Senior Libero, Mackenzie Day currently leads the nation in total digs (136) and digs per set (7.16).
• Noemia Chiacchio leads the team with 52 kills, Megan Carpenter is second on the team with 40 kills, and Ariel Bryant is third on the team with 37 kills.
• Alysha Arroyo leads the team with 120 assists, while Jayden Johnson is second on the team with 54 assists.
• Chiacchio also leads the team in service aces (12) and Johnson is second with 8 on the season.
• Ariel Bryant is second on the team with 74 digs and Arroyo is third on the team with 62 digs. Tori Barr leads the team with 13 blocks and close behind in second place is Alayah Robertson with 12 blocks on the season.

 
Roberts Wesleyan Notes:

• Roberts Wesleyan is 3-1 this season with wins over California University of Pennsylvania, Wilmington College and Millersville.
• The Red Hawks are coming off a straight sets loss to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown last Saturday afternoon.
• Roberts Wesleyan is averaging 13.6 kills per set, 12.5 assists per set, 2.3 aces per set, 17.6 digs per set, and 1.5 blocks per set.
• Sydney Yanak leads the team with 59 kills, Olivia Price is second on the team with 51 kills, and Jaycee Karelus is third on the team with 35 kills.
• Caleigh Schroeder leads the team with 176 assists and 12 service aces. Teagan Weber leads the team with 81 digs and Schroeder is second on the team with 46 digs. Celine Malosa leads the team with 11 blocks.  

 
Elizabeth City State Notes:

• Elizabeth City State is 0-3 this season with losses to Newberry, Lincoln Memorial and Chowan.
• The Vikings are averaging 9.6 kills per set, 8.9 assists per set, 1.5 aces per set, 14.9 digs per set and 1.3 blocks per set.
• Andrea Rose leads the team with 19 kills, Clarke Blakemore and Victoria White are both second on the team with 15 kills each.
• Kayleigh Sullivan leads the team with 39 assists, Angel Bowden is second on the team with 23 assists, and Jada Rouse leads the team with 7 service aces.
• Naijya Leggett leads the team with 38 digs and Rouse is second on the team with 33 digs.
• Four different Vikings are tied for the team lead with three blocks each.

 
University of Charleston Notes:

• Charleston is 2-2 this season with wins over Jefferson and West Chester last weekend.
• The Golden Eagles are averaging 11.3 kills per set, 10.7 assists per set, 1.8 aces per set, 15.1 digs per set and 1.9 blocks per set.
• Emma Shepherd leads the team with 44 kills, Emma Antigua is second on the team with 33 kills, and both Riley Hoff and Pia Selke are tied for third with 30 kills each.
• Abby Avila leads the team with 83 assists and London Upchurch is second on the team with 53 assists. Antigua leads the team with 10 aces on the season.
• Chloe Fortner leads the team with 45 digs, Shepherd is second on the team with 37 digs, and Antigua is third on the team with 34 digs.
• Kate Strong leads the team with 17 blocks and Pia Selke is second on the team with 12 blocks.

 
Central State Notes:

• Central State is 1-4 this season, with their lone win coming against Harris-Stowe State on Wednesday evening.
• The Marauders are averaging 8.9 kills per set, 8.4 assists per set, 1.6 aces per set, 9.3 digs per set, and 1.4 blocks per set.
• DesiRaye Blakely leads the team with 31 kills, Zahra Coates is second on the team with 28 kills, and Casey Williams is third on the team with 26 kills.
• Brooke Morris leads the team with 61 assists, and Nevaeh Brownlee is second on the team 56 assists. Morris also leads the team with 10 aces on the season.
• Alyvia Eide leads the team with 32 digs this season, Kennedy Baugh is second on the team with 27 digs, and Zahra Coates is third on the team with 24 digs. Anya Coates leads the team with 10 blocks this season.
