With the victory, Converse secured a share of the Conference Carolinas Northwest division title, posting a 5-1 record in divisional play. It is the first title of any kind for the Valkyries in the school's NCAA era.

The Braves have secured at least a share of the Conference Carolinas East division title and can win it outright with a win in their final game against Chowan (12-8, 12-4 CC).
UNC Pembroke currently sits atop the Conference Carolinas KPI rankings which would allow them to begin play in the conference tournament in the semifinals at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium, home of the Division I Wofford Terriers.
