The Series:
This will be the sixth all-time meeting between Converse and Lees-McRae dating back to the 2021-22 basketball season. Lees-McRae holds a slight edge in the series with a 3-2 record against the Valkyries. However, Converse won the last meeting a month ago up in Banner Elk. The Valkyries will be looking to complete the season sweep against the Bobcats for the first time in program history. 
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 17-8 overall and 9-6 in Conference Carolinas action. The Valkyries are coming off a 76-73 win over Southern Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon.   
• Uzziah Dawkins led the team with 21-points, Earl Burgess III was second on the team with 17-points and CJ Jamison finished third on the team with 11-points.
• Converse is averaging 79.6 points per game this season, while shooting 47 percent from the field, 36 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 34.5 rebounds per game, 15.6 assists per game, 7.9 steals per game and 1.7 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 19.5 points per game, Jamison is second on the team with 16.0 points per game and Burgess III is third on the team with 8.7 points per game.
• Jamison leads the team with 137 rebounds on the season and 42 steals on the year. Joel Pullen has a team best 86 assists so far this season for the Valkyries.

 
Lees-McRae Notes:

• Lees-McRae is 16-9 overall this season and 9-6 in Conference Carolinas play this year. The Bobcats are coming off a 95-66 win over North Greenville on Saturday afternoon.
• Jeremy Golson led the team with 16-points, Rodney Smith added 15-points, LJ Rogers had 12-points, and both Timon Jones and Ja'Quavian Florence contributed 11-points.
• The Bobcats are averaging 88.1 points per game this season, shooting 48 percent from the field, 35 percent from three-point range and 69 percent from the free throw line.
• Lees-McRae is averaging 34.7 rebounds per game, 16.3 assists per game, 12.3 steals per game and 4.3 blocks per game.
• Florence leads the team with 12.2 points per game this season, Jaylin Stewart is second on the team with 11.1 points per game, Jones is third on the team with 11.0 points per game and Smith is fourth on the team with 10.4 points per game.
• Sidney Dollar leads the team with 160 total rebounds and 68 steals on the season. Smith leads the team with 69 assists and Nico Ashley has a team best 59 blocked shots on the year.
