MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced their annual All-American Teams on Tuesday morning, Converse University senior
Catalina Pistaccio (Buenos Aires, Argentina) earned a spot on the Second Team.
For Pistaccio this her third time being named an All-American by the NFHCA. The native of Argentina becomes the first Valkyrie of any sport to be named a three-time All-American over the course of her career. Last month, Pistaccio was named a First Team All-Conference selection for the fourth time in her career.
The senior led the Valkyries this season in goals (13), assists (7), points (33), total shots (51), and shots on goal (32). Pistaccio won the SAC Statistical Championship in points per game this season (1.94). Pistaccio concludes her Converse career as the all-time leader in points (121), goals (47), assists (27), total shots (243), shots on goal (149), and game-winning goals (12).

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game.
