The Series
This is the third all-time meeting between Converse and Wingate dating back to the 2022 Field Hockey season. The Valkyries are 2-0 all-time against the Bulldogs and defeated Wingate 7-0 the last time they made the trip to Graham Gill Field.
 
This will be the seventh all-time meeting between Converse and Lander dating back to the 2002 season. Converse holds a 4-2 record against the Bearcats and will be looking to snap the Bearcats two game winning streak on Sunday afternoon.   
 
 
Converse Notes

• Converse is 7-3 overall this season and 5-3 in South Atlantic Conference action. The Valkyries are coming off a 2-1 loss to Limestone on Tuesday evening.  
• The Valkyries are averaging 2.50 goals per game this season, 111 total shots and 75 shots on goal this season. Converse has recorded 17 assists, 47 saves, and has attempted 61 penalty corners.
• Pistaccio leads the team with 9 goals, 20 points, 29 total shots, and 19 shots on goal.
• Amparo Figueroa is second on the team with five goals on the season and Sage Pilarski is third on the team with four goals. Chelsy Bunse leads the team with a trio of saves this season.  
• Johanna Balks has played in six games this season and started a quartet of games for the Valkyries. Balks leads the team with 27 saves and a .818 save percentage.

 
Wingate Notes

• Wingate is 10-2 overall this season and 8-2 in South Atlantic Conference play. The Bulldogs are 5-0 at home this season, but they are coming off a 2-0 loss to Mount Olive on Wednesday evening.
• The Bulldogs are averaging 2.58 goals per game this season, 17.1 shots per game this year, and 110 shots on goal this season. Wingate has recorded 17 assists, 60 saves and 97 penalty corners.
• Rylie Cordrey leads the team with 8 goals, 4 assists, 20 points, 52 total shots and 22 shots on goal this season. Grace Gener is second on the team with five goals and Audrey Proulx is third on the team with four goals.
• Audra Szymborski has started all 12 matches for the Bulldogs in goal this season. Szymborski has made 58 saves and posted a .853 save percentage.

 
Lander Notes

• Lander is 6-4 overall this season and 5-2 in South Atlantic Conference action. The Bearcats are 2-2 on the road this season and they are currently on a two game winning streak.
• The Bearcats are coming off a 3-1 win over Maryville on Thursday afternoon. Victoria Hulst, Dusty-Rose Miller, and Iris Van Der Does all scored for Lander in the win.
• Lander is averaging 2.20 goals per game this season, 13.5 shots per game and 95 shots on goal this year. The Bearcats have recorded 9 assists, 39 saves, and 77 penalty corners.
• Iris van der Does and Dusty-Rose Miller both lead the team with five goals each. Does and Lauren Punt are tied for the team lead with four assists each.
• Avery Tworkoski has played in 10 games and made seven starts this season for the Bearcats in goal. However, Isabel Elenga leads the team with 23 saves and a .767 save percentage.
