Converse Notes:

Converse enters Saturday's contest after a 65-50 road nonconference victory over St. Augustine's University on Dec. 31. They have won three of their last four matches against Division II opponents.
Redshirt senior center Sydney Wilson is 12 points away from scoring her 1,000th career points. She averages 14.5 points per game, the seventh highest mark in Conference Carolinas this season.
Converse allows the fifth-fewest points per game of all Conference Carolinas teams at 63.2. She is third in the conference in per-game rebounding with 8.1 points per game.
The Valkyries have a trio of guards who all average at least 9.0 points per game: junior Elisa Solé Sanchez (9.9), junior Zariyah Washington (9.3) and graduate student Jordan Brown (9.2).

UNC Pembroke Notes:

The Braves return to action having not played since Dec. 19 when they fell by five points, 66-61, to No. 4 Catawba. They are 3-0 in Conference Carolinas play.
UNC Pembroke was selected to finish first in the Conference Carolinas preseason poll. They received eight first-place votes. They are currently fourth in the east division but are also yet to play against a divisional opponent.
Junior guard Zaria Clark leads the Braves in scoring with 16.0 points per game, the fifth-highest mark in Conference Carolinas. Senior guard Kalaya Hall joins Clark in the conference's top-ten scorers at the eighth position with 14.3 points per game.
The Braves score the sixth-most points per game of all Conference Carolinas teams with 64.0 and hold opponents to the third-lowest scoring with an average of 59.8 points per game, one of three Conference Carolinas teams holding teams to an average under 60 points.

Furman Notes:

Furman enters Sunday's game having not played since New Year's Eve when they defeated North Carolina Central 73-63. The Paladins are 9-6 on the season and have yet to play a Southern Conference opponent.
As a Division I team, the game will count towards Furman's record while it will be an exhibition contest for the Valkyries.
Junior forward Jada Session is the team's leading scorer with 13.7 points per game. She is one of three Paladins to start in all 15 games this season.
Furman is the top offensive team in the SoCon posting an average of 71.4 points per game, 4.5 points per game better than the second-best team in the conference.
