The Series:
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between Converse and Mount Olive dating back to the 2021-22 season. Mount Olive is 3-1 all-time in the series and 2-0 at home against the Valkyries. Last time, the Valkyries traveled to Mount Olive it was an instant classic that saw the Valkyries come up just two points short in a 90-88 loss to the Trojans.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 11-5 overall and 4-3 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off a 107-104 win over Coker on Wednesday night.   
• C.J. Jamison set the school record for points in a game with 33 against Coker. Jamison also set or tied the program record for total shot attempts, 3-point shot attempts and free throws made. Uzziah Dawkins finished second on the team with 28-points, his third straight game with at least 25-points.
• Malcolm Morgan finished third on the team with a 14-point outing against the Cobras and Joel Pullen finished fourth on the team with 13-points against Coker.
• Dawkins earned Conference Carolinas Player of the Week honors for the second time this season, following his performance on the court last week. 
• Converse is averaging 83.3 points per game, shooting 48 percent from the field, 39 percent from beyond the arch and 72 percent from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 36.4 rebounds per game, 16.8 assists per game, 7.0 steals per game and 1.6 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 20.1 points per game, Jamison is second on the team with 15.6 points per game, Burgess III is third on the team with 8.6 points per game this season. 
• Jamison leads the team with 99 rebounds and 25 steals on the season, while Joel Pullen leads the team with 55 assists on the year.

 
Mount Olive Notes:

• Mount Olive is 3-13 overall and 2-4 in Conference Carolinas play this year. The Trojans are coming off an 88-84 loss to Chowan on Wednesday evening.
• Redford Dunton led the team with 18-points, Aaron Murphy finished second on the team with 16-points and Brent Randleman and Trey Nelson both contributed 12 and 10 points respectively in the loss.
• Mount Olive is averaging 79.7 points per game, shooting 43 percent from the field, 33 percent from beyond the arch and 67 percent from the free throw line.
• The Trojans are averaging 33.8 rebounds per game, 15.3 assists per game, 7.6 steals per game and 1.9 blocks per game.
• Dunton leads the team with 15.0 points per game this season, Shane Peterson is second on the team with 13.9 points per game and Aaron Murphy is third on the team with 13.5 points per game.
• Dunton also leads the team in rebounds (80), while Trey Nelson leads the team with 97 assists and 28 steals.
