The Series:
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between Converse and Chowan dating back to the 2021-22 season. Chowan is 2-1 all-time in the series and currently is on a two-game winning streak. Neither team has won on the others home court, with the Valkyries lone win (68-67) coming in January of 2022.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 10-4 overall and 4-2 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off an 84-54 win over Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday evening.
• Uzziah Dawkins led the team with 29-points, Earl Burgess III finished second on the team with 16-points and Jay Mitchell finished third on the team with 13-points off the bench.     
• Converse is averaging 83.3 points per game, shooting 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from beyond the arch and 71 percent from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 36.6 rebounds per game, 17.1 assists per game, 6.9 steals per game and 1.5 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 19.1 points per game, Jamison is second on the team with 14.6 points per game, Burgess III is third on the team with 9.1 points per game this season.  
• Jamison leads the team with 86 rebounds and 24 steals on the season, while Joel Pullen leads the team with 48 assists on the year.

 
Chowan Notes:

• Chowan is 9-6 overall and 3-3 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Hawks are 6-1 on the road and just 2-3 at home this season.
• The Hawks are coming off a 73-64 loss to UNC Pembroke on Wednesday night. Daylan Askew led the team with 23-points, Preston Le Gassick finished second on the team with 15-points and Skyler Davies contributed 10-points in the loss.
• Chowan is averaging 80.8 points per game, shooting 45 percent from the field, 36 percent from three-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line.
• The Hawks are averaging 40.7 rebounds per game, 16.1 assists per game, 5.9 steals per game and 3.5 blocks per game.
• Askew leads the team with 18.7 points per game, Le Gassick is second on the team with 14.2 points per game and RJ Wilson is third on the team with 13.9 points per game.
• Wilson leads the team with 141 rebounds, while Askew has a team high 70 assists and 26 steals on the season.
