BELMONT, N.C. – Senior 
Brenna Everette recorded her 100
th career point in a 24-3 loss to Belmont Abbey on Tuesday night.
With the loss Converse falls to 8-8 overall and 4-4 in Conference Carolinas action this season, while Belmont Abbey improves to 10-6 overall and 7-1 in Conference Carolinas play. 
Ryleigh Schaeffer led the team with 2 goals on the night, 
Rhianna Warner was second on the team with one goal and Everette and 
Hailey Obenchain each had an assist in the loss.
Belmont Abbey took a 10-0 lead after the first quarter; the Valkyries found a little bit of offense in the third quarter with a trio of goals. Unfortunately, the Crusaders scored four goals in the second and outscored the Valkyries 10-0 in the second half.
 
Next Up:
	- Converse will stay on the road this weekend with a trip to Mount Olive on Friday afternoon.
