The Series:
This will be the third matchup of the season between Converse and Barton and the fifth all-time dating back to last season. This season, each team held serve on their home court with Converse breaking a three-game losing streak to Barton in the process. Barton holds a 3-1 record in the all-time series but Converse won the last meeting 71-66. NyGel Boozer led Converse with 23-points off the bench against the Bulldogs, while Uzziah Dawkins finished second on the team with 15-points.
 
Converse Notes:

• For the first time in program history, Converse won a Conference Carolinas Championship Tournament game and advanced to the quarterfinals round at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on the campus of Wofford College.
• Converse is 15-14 overall, 12-8 in Conference Carolinas action, the Valkyries are coming off an 81-78 thriller over #7 Francis Marion on Monday night at the Weisiger Center.  
• Bosko Bojovic and Uzziah Dawkins each scored 20-points in the win, while NyGel Boozer and Earl Burgess III contributed 19 and 10-points respectively.
• Bojovic earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team, while Dawkins found a spot on the All-Conference Third Team.  
• Converse is averaging 72.8 points per game this season and is shooting .463 from the field. The Valkyries are shooting .355 from the three-point line and .711 from the free throw line this season.
• Converse is averaging 35.3 rebounds per game, 13.0 assists per game, 4.9 steals per game and 1.9 blocks per game.
• Dawkins currently leads the team in points per game this season (14.6), Bojovic is second on the team with 14.2 points per game and Sigurd Lorange is third on the team with 10.9 points per game.
• Bojovic also leads the team in offensive rebounds (84), defensive rebounds (173) and total rebounds (257). Dawkins leads the team in assists (116), steals (29) and blocks (17).

 
Barton Notes:

• Barton is 16-11 overall and 14-6 in Conference Carolinas action and is 0-2 in neutral site games this season.
• Last time out, the Bulldogs saw a three-game losing streak come to a close following a 92-85 loss to Chowan on February 22^nd. Donaven Hairston led the team with 22-points, Marcus Boykin added 15-points and Reese McDonald contributed 12-points in the loss.
• Boykin earned First Team All-Conference honors, while Hairston earned Second Team All-Conference honors.
• Barton is averaging 78.0 points per game this season, while shooting .423 from the field, .277 from three-point range and .795 from the free throw line.
• The Bulldogs are averaging 38.4 rebounds per game, 14.4 assists per game, 9.5 steals per game and 4.7 blocks per game.
• Boykin leads the team with 21.6 points per game this season, Hairston is second on the team with 16.7 points per game and Trevon Spencer is third on the team with 12.3 points per game.
• Boykin leads the team in defensive rebounds (122), total rebounds (175) and rebounds per game (6.7). Hairston leads the team with 48 steals, McDonald leads the team with 113 assists and Spencer leads the team with 51 blocked shots on the season.
