The Series:
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between Converse and Lees-McRae. The Valkyries will be looking for their first ever win in the state of North Carolina on Tuesday evening. Lees-McRae holds a 2-1 advantage in the overall series but the Valkyries won the first meeting this season 75-68.
Trey Smith led the Valkyries with 21-points off the bench, while
Jay Mitchell contributed 19-points in the win for Converse.

- Converse is 12-12 overall, 10-6 in Conference Carolinas action, the Valkyries are coming off a 71-57 loss to #5 UNC Pembroke on Saturday afternoon inside the Weisiger Center.

- Lees-McRae is 9-13 overall and 5-9 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Bobcats have struggled away from home this season but they are an even 5-5 at home this season.
- Lees-McRae is coming off a 95-67 win over Barton on Saturday afternoon. Williams Onyeodi led the Bobcats with an 18-point, 13-rebound effort against the Bulldogs. Four other Bobcats also scored at least 10-points in the win.
- The Bobcats are averaging 80.3 points per game this season and they are shooting .477 from the field. Lees-McRae is also shooting .337 from three-point range and .672 from the free throw line.
