The Series:
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between Converse and King. Converse is 2-1 overall in the all-time series against King, having won both their games in Spartanburg. The Valkyries will be looking to win their first ever game in the state of Tennessee. Earlier this season the Valkyries outscored King 47-25 on their way to an 82-67 win over the Tornado. Uzziah Dawkins and Bosko Bojovic each scored 25-points in the Valkyries win over King.     
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 13-13 overall, 11-7 in Conference Carolinas action, the Valkyries are coming off a 76-71 home win over Southern Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon.
• Dawkins led the Valkyries with 22-points, while Bojovic added 19-points and a team high 11-rebounds against the Warriors.  
• Converse is averaging 71.8 points per game this season and is shooting .458 from the field. The Valkyries are shooting .349 from the three-point line and .704 from the free throw line this season.
• Converse is averaging 35.5 rebounds per game, 12.8 assists per game, 5.0 steals per game and 2.0 blocks per game.
• Dawkins currently leads the team in points per game this season (14.5), Bojovic is second on the team with 13.7 points per game and Sigurd Lorange is third on the team with 10.9 points per game.
• Bojovic also leads the team in offensive rebounds (76), defensive rebounds (157) and total rebounds (233). Dawkins leads the team in assists (101), steals (26) and blocks (17).

 
King Notes:

• King is 6-18 overall and 5-12 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Tornado are coming off a 104-90 loss to Lees-McRae on Monday night.
• Michael Mays led the Tornado with a 34-point outing against the Bobcats, Brandon Lamberth contributed a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double and Darron Howard and Henry Okoye each scored at least 10-points in the loss.
• King is averaging 81.9 points per game this season and they are shooting .430 from the field. The Tornado are shooting .324 from three-point range and .694 from the free throw line.
• The Tornado are averaging 39.3 rebounds per game, 11.1 assists per game, 6.5 steals per game and 2.3 rebounds per game.
• Mays leads the team in scoring with 23.2 points per game, Kenny Turner is second on the team with 10.4 points per game and Lamberth rounds out the top-three with 10.3 points per game.
• Turner leads the team with 57 offensive rebounds, 100 defensive rebounds and 157 total rebounds. Turner also leads the team in assists (38) and blocked shots (20), while Mays leads the team with 27 steals.
