The Series:
This will be the third all-time meeting between Converse and Limestone dating back to the 2021-22 basketball season. The Saints are 2-0 all-time against the Valkyries, but Converse will be hosting the matchup for the first time in series history on Saturday afternoon inside the Weisiger Center. Last season, Limestone defeated Converse 78-67 in the Timken Center. Trey Smith led the Valkyries in scoring that day with 24-points and Bosko Bojovic posted a 14-point, 14-rebound double-double against the Saints.  
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 9-1 overall and 3-1 in Conference Carolinas action. The Valkyries are coming off a 97-87 win over Francis Marion before the Holiday break.
• Six different players ended the game with double-figures in the scoring column, C.J. Jamison (19 points), Earl Burgess III (19pts), Uzziah Dawkins (18pts), Edoardo Buffo (14pts), Joel Pullen (12pts) and Kervens Yacinthe (10pts).
• The Valkyries are #6 in the latest D2 CSC Region Poll, right behind UNC Pembroke and Catawba.
• Converse is averaging 88.2 points per game, shooting 53 percent from the field, 41 percent from beyond the arch and 71 percent from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 37.8 rebounds per game, 19.1 assists per game, 7.2 steals per game and 1.5 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 19.3 points per game, Jamison is second on the team with 15.6 points per game and Buffo is third on the team with 14.2 points per game.
• Jamison leads the team with 62 rebounds and 18 steals on the season, while Buffo leads the team with 43 assists.

Limestone Notes:

• Limestone is 5-5 overall this season and 3-1 in South Atlantic Conference action. The Saints are coming off a 78-71 win over Southern Wesleyan before the Holiday break.
• Zeb Graham led the team with 23 points, Greg McKay was second on the team with 15 points and Jacquez Yow was third on the team with 13 points.
• Limestone is averaging 74.9 points per game this season, they are shooting 42 percent from the field, 32 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free throw line.
• The Saints are averaging 33.0 rebounds per game, 12.5 assists per game, 6.3 steals per game and 3.3 blocks per game.
• Graham leads the team with 18.1 points per game, Yow is second on the team with 14.6 points per game, McKay is third on the team with 12.2 points per game and Sirr Hughes is fourth on the team with 11.7 points per game.
