The Valkyries enter Wednesday's game following a 75-51 loss to Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday.
Redshirt senior Sydney Wilson was the team's second leading scorer with 16 points. She shared the team lead in rebounds with eight. Wilson has the second highest per-game rebounding average in Conference Carolinas with 7.0 per game.
Senior guard Jennifer Damoah made her first start of the season against the Bears. She also recorded eight rebounds.
Converse won the last matchup with the Lions in the Weisiger Center 56-50.

Emmanuel Notes:

Emmanuel started the season with a three-game win streak against North Georgia, Georgia College and USC Aiken. Following the win streak, they have dropped four straight to: Lander, Anderson, Augusta and Georgia College.
Led by head coach Mike Bona for over 38 years, the 2023-24 Emmanuel team was selected to finish fourth in the Conference Carolinas preseason poll. They were the highest ranked team to not receive a first-place vote.
The Lions are tied for the highest scoring average in Conference Carolinas with 68.1 points per game.
Senior guard Sydney Wyatt leads the team in per-game scoring with 18.7 points per game, over five points higher than her closest teammate.
