The Series:
This will be the first ever meeting between Converse and Morris College.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 3-0 for the first time in program history after wins over Mars Hill, Wingate and Newberry. The Valkyries are averaging just over 80 points per game and they are outscoring opponents by an average of 16.7 points per game through the first three games.
• Converse is 1-1 in home openers, the Valkyries defeated Mars Hill opening night in 2021 but lost to Newberry last season in their home debut.
• For the first time in program history the Valkyries have entered into the D2 CSC Southeast Regional Poll as the number 10 team.
• Uzziah Dawkins and CJ Jamison swept the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week Awards. Dawkins won offensive player of the week, while Jamison won defensive player of the week.
• Converse is averaging 80.7 points per game, shooting 52 percent from the field, 39 percent from beyond the arch and 69 percent from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 35.3 rebounds per game, 18.3 assists per game, 6.7 steals per game and 2.0 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 20.7 points per game, Jamison is second on the team with 15.3 points per game and Edoardo Buffo is third on the team with 9.7 points per game.
• Jamison leads the team with 25 total rebounds and 7 steals. Joel Pullen leads the team with 15 total assists on the season.

• Morris is 0-6 and has given up over 100 points in every game this season. They do not have any other statistical information on their website about the men's basketball program.
