How to Watch:
The South Atlantic Conference has signed a multi-year deal with Flosports and all games will be shown on the platform this on Wednesday evening. Fans will have to pay to watch the game this Wednesday on Flosports.
 
The Series:
The Valkyries are 0-1 all-time against Newberry with the Wolves winning the only matchup 68-56 last season. This will be the Valkyries first trip to Eleazer Arena in Newberry.     
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 2-0 for the first time in program history after wins over Mars Hill and Wingate this past weekend.
• For the first time in program history the Valkyries have entered into the D2 CSC Southeast Regional Poll as the number 10 team.
• Uzziah Dawkins and CJ Jamison swept the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week Awards. Dawkins won offensive player of the week, while Jamison won defensive player of the week.
• Converse is averaging 82.0 points per game, shooting 54 percent from the field, 43 percent from beyond the arch and 68 percent from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 34.5 rebounds per game, 19.5 assists per game, 6.0 steals per game and 3.0 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 23 points per game, Jamison is second on the team with 16 points per game and Edoardo Buffo is third on the team with 11 points per game.
• Jamison leads the team with 16 total rebounds and six steals. Joel Pullen leads the team with 11 total assists on the season.  

 
 
Newberry Notes:

• Newberry is 0-1 this season and is coming off an 88-67 loss to Lander on Sunday afternoon. This will be the Wolves home opener.
• The Wolves are averaging 67 points per game this season, shooting 41 percent, shooting 32 percent from three-point range and 14 percent from the free throw line.
• Newberry averaging 29.0 rebounds per game, 16.0 assists per game and 7.0 steals per game.
• Jalen Johnson leads the team with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Malik Joseph is second on the team with 12 points and leads the team with 4 assists. Caleb Byrd, Devario Sheppard and James Lovorn are all third on the team with 9 points each.
