The Series:
This will be the third meeting between Converse and Lees-McRae. The Bobcats swept the season series last year against the Valkyries, including an 87-80 win over Converse at home last season.  
 
Converse Notes:
  • Converse is 6-10 overall and 4-4 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off an 83-74 road loss to Chowan on Saturday afternoon.      
  • Bosko Bojovic recorded his third straight double-double and scored at least 10-points for the seventh straight game this season. Bojovic led the team with a 17-point, 16-rebound performance against the Hawks. Aaron Porcil added a season high 16-points off the bench for Converse, while Uzziah Dawkins and Trey Smith contributed double-digit scoring efforts as well.
  • Converse is second in the league in total points with 1,154 and they are averaging 72.1 points per game. The Valkyries are shooting .467 from the field, .365 from three-point range and .677 from the free throw line.
  • The Valkyries are averaging 34.4 rebounds per game, 13.3 assists per game, 4.8 steals per game and 1.9 blocks per game.
  • Dawkins leads the team with 13.6 points per game, Bojovic is second on the team with 12.1 points per game and Sigurd Lorange is third on the team with 10.9 points per game.  
  • Bojovic leads the team in offensive rebounds (48), defensive rebounds (73), total rebounds (121) and rebounds per game (8.6). Dawkins leads the team with 58 assists and 8 blocks, while Jordan Warlick leads the team with 14 steals on the season.   
 
Lees-McRae Notes:
  • Lees-McRae is 6-10 overall and 2-6 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Bobcats are coming off a 97-57 win over Erskine on Saturday afternoon, where they scored 62-points in the opening half against the Flying Fleet.
  • Five different Bobcats scored in double-figures against the Flying Fleet, Justin Nichelson (16-points), Nico Ashley (15-points), Timon Jones (11-points), Jaylin Stewart (11-points) and Brandon Brown (10-points).
  • The Bobcats lead the league in total points with 1,288 and they are averaging 80.5 points per game this season. Lees-McRae is shooting .475 from the field, .331 from three-point range and .674 from the free throw line.
  • Lees-McRae is averaging 33.8 rebounds per game, 13.9 assists per game, 8.9 steals per game and 4.9 blocks per game.
  • Nichelson leads the team with 11.8 points per game and Stewart is second on the team with 10.3 points per game.
  • Sidney Dollar leads the team in offensive rebounds (22), defensive rebounds (61), total rebounds (83), rebounds per game (5.2) and is tied with Stewart for the team lead in assists with 38.
  • LJ Rogers leads the team with 26 steals on the season, while both Nichelson and Nico Ashley are tied for the team lead with 20-blocks each.
