The Series
This will be the 37th game between Converse and Belmont Abbey and the second meeting between the two teams this season. The Crusaders extended their advantage to 32-4 over the Valkyries with a 79-37 win on November 22.
 
Converse Notes:
  • Converse is 4-16 overall and 4-9 in Conference Carolinas play after picking up a 64-52 win over King University on Tuesday evening.
  • In the win, Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week Sydney Wilson led the team with 22 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal. Zahra Cross followed with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists and five steals.
  • Converse is averaging 49.2 points per game while shooting .325 from the field, .223 from three-point range and .606 from the line.
  • The Valkyries are totaling 38.4 rebounds per game, 9.8 assists per game, 7.6 steals per game and 3.6 blocks per game.
  • Wilson leads the team overall, averaging 13.1 points per game with 138 rebounds, 27 assists, 13 steals and 16 blocks on the season. Cross follows with an average of 10.8 points per game and 61 rebounds, 36 assists, 25 steals and four blocks.

Belmont Abbey Notes:
  • Belmont Abbey is 15-3 overall and 12-0 in Conference Carolinas action after picking up their 12th conference win with a 52-43 victory against Emmanuel on Wednesday evening.
  • In the win, Abigail Crain dropped 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Riley James followed with 12 points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal.
  • Belmont Abbey is averaging 65.4 points per game with a .418 field goal percentage, a .320 three-point percentage and a .830 free throw percentage.
  • The Crusaders are racking up 36.4 rebounds per game, 12.1 assists per game, 15.2 turnovers per game, 7.1 steals per game and 3.2 blocks per game.
  • Crain leads the team overall, averaging 17.8 points per game and 104 rebounds, 38 assists, 23 steals and nine blocks on the year. Taylor Stelley follows with 12.7 points per game and 49 rebounds, 42 assists, 20 steals and two blocks.
