The Series:
This will be the third all-time meeting between Converse and King University. The overall series is currently split 1-1 with each team winning on their home court. In the Tornado's only, trip to the Weisiger Center the Valkyries won 77-73 after they outscored King 50-33 in the second half. Jordan Warlick led the team with 19-points, Jimmie Sanders III was second on the team with 16-points and Earl Burgess III recorded a double-double with a 12-point, 10-rebound performance.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 9-11 overall, 7-5 in Conference Carolinas action and is 8-1 at home this season. The Valkyries are coming off a 71-66 win over Barton on Saturday afternoon inside the Weisiger Center.
• Nygel Boozer led the team with 23-points off the bench, Uzziah Dawkins finished second on the team with 15-points, while Jay Mitchell and Bosko Bojovic each recorded 11-points in the win. Bojovic has now recorded three straight double-doubles and has scored ten or more points in 11 consecutive contests.
• Converse is averaging 72.8 points per game this season and is shooting .464 from the field. The Valkyries are shooting .370 from the three-point line and .684 from the free throw line this season.
• Converse is averaging 35.4 rebounds per game, 13.4 assists per game, 4.9 steals per game and 2.0 blocks per game.
• Bojovic and Dawkins are currently tied for the team lead in scoring this season with 13.1 points per game. Sigurd Lorange is third on the team with 10.9 points per game and Jay Mitchell is fourth on the team with 7.9 point per game.
• Bojovic leads the team with 64 offensive rebounds, 112 defensive rebounds, 176 total rebounds and 9.8 rebounds per game. Dawkins leads the team in assists (76), steals (17) and blocks (11).

 
King Notes:

• King is 5-12 overall and 4-6 in Conference Carolina play, the Tornado are 3-4 on the road this season and they have lost three straight matchups. Most recently they lost 100-95 to Carolina University.
• Michael Mays led the team with 19-points, Kenny Turner finished second on the team with 17-points, Myles McCrary finished with 14-points and Brandon Lamberth finished with 13-points.
• King is currently averaging 83.2 points per game this season and they are shooting .433 from the field. The Tornado are shooting .331 from three-point range and .695 from the free throw line.
• King is averaging 39.3 rebounds per game this season, 10.9 assists per game this year 6.2 steals per game and 2.5 blocks per game.
