The Series
This will be the 16^th game between Converse and Southern Wesleyan. The Valkyries hold a 11-4 series lead over the Warriors. Last season's series was split as each team picked up a win and a loss against one another.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 2-15 overall and 2-8 in Conference Carolinas play after dropping a 66-44 road contest to Mount Olive on Monday afternoon.
• In the loss, Zahra Cross led the Valkyries with 18 points, four rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals. Jordan Brown followed with eight points, four rebounds and two assists. Sydney Wilson and Amaia Parkins each tallied nine rebounds on the afternoon.
• Converse is averaging 47.0 points per game while shooting .311 from the field, .230 from beyond the arch and .589 from the line.
• The Valkyries are tallying 38.1 rebounds per game, 9.9 assists per game, 7.5 steals per game and 2.7 blocks per game.
• Wilson leads the team overall, averaging 12.5 points per game with a total of 104 rebounds, 21 assists, 10 steals and six blocks on the year. Cross follows, averaging 10.1 points per game. She has 49 rebounds, 30 assists, 19 steals and four blocks on the season.
• Brown ties Wilson for rebounds (104) while leading the team in assists (41) and steals (29). Parkins leads Converse in blocks with 15.

Southern Wesleyan Notes:

• Southern Wesleyan is 2-16 overall and 2-8 in Conference Carolinas action after dropping a home contest to Francis Marion on Monday evening.
• In the 70-66 loss, Brittany Mack led the Warriors with 18 points, seven rebounds, one assist and two steals. Lexi Greffen followed with 17 points, two rebounds and two steals.
• Southern Wesleyan is averaging 57.8 points per game with a .379 field goal percentage, a .283 three-point percentage and a .631 free throw percentage.
• The Warriors are racking up 33.2 rebounds per game, 11.2 assists per game, 19.3 turnovers per game, 6.9 steals per game and 2.5 blocks per game.
• Mack leads the team overall with an average of 13.5 points per game and 90 rebounds, 43 assists, 33 steals and one block on the year. Shelby Glance follows, averaging 12.4 points per game with 124 rebounds, 17 assists, 11 steals and 22 blocks on the season.
