The Series:
This will be the third meeting all-time between Converse and Southern Wesleyan. The Warriors have won both games in the series by an average of nearly 40 points per game. Last season, the Valkyries lost to the Warriors 92-56 inside Historic Tysinger Gym. Elijah Pitts was the leading scorer for the Valkyries in that game with 16-points, while Earl Burgess III added 14-points in the loss.   
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 7-11 overall and 5-5 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off a 90-88 loss to Mount Olive on Monday afternoon.
• Bosko Bojovic and Trey Smith each scored 25-points in the loss for Converse. Bojovic finished the game with a career high 21-rebounds, that mark is the third highest in all of Division II this season. Smith tied the school record for three-pointers in a game with seven on the night.
• Converse is averaging 73.2 points per game this season and they are shooting .470 from the field. The Valkyries are shooting .371 from the three-point arch and .679 from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 34.9 rebounds per game, 13.7 assists per game, 4.9 steals per game and 2.0 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 13.2 points per game, Bojovic is second on the team with 12.9 points per game and Sigurd Lorange is third on the team with 10.9 points per game. 
• Bojovic leads the team in offensive rebounds (57), defensive rebounds (94), total rebounds (151) and rebounds per game (9.4). Dawkins leads the team with 68 assists and 10 blocks, while Jordan Warlick leads the team with 15 steals on the season.  

 
Southern Wesleyan Notes:

• Southern Wesleyan is 3-15 overall this season and 3-7 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Warriors are coming off an 85-84 win over Francis Marion on Monday evening.
• Four players scored in double-figures for the Warriors on Monday night, Tyrin Hollis (22pts), Marcus Long (21pts), Bryson Felder (18pts) and Raevon Allen (17pts).
• Southern Wesleyan is averaging 71.1 points per game and is shooting .432 from the field this season. The Warriors are shooting .348 from three-point range this season and .683 from the free throw line this year.
• Southern Wesleyan is averaging 29.6 rebounds per game and 13.9 assists per game. The Warriors are averaging 6.4 steals per game and 1.7 blocks per game.
• Jamal Edmonson leads the team with 13.2 points per game, Hollis is second on the team with 12.4 points per game, Long is third on the team with 11.5 points per game, Felder is fourth on the team with 11.4 points per game and Wilvens Fleurizard is fifth on the team with 10.8 points per game.
