The Series:
This will be the fourth meeting between Converse and Mount Olive with the Trojans holding a 2-1 advantage in the overall series. However, the Valkyries will be looking for their first season sweep and their first win inside the Kornegay Arena on Monday afternoon. The Valkyries won the first meeting of the season 77-71 inside the Weisiger Center on December 3^rd. Uzziah Dawkins and Earl Burgess III each had 15-points in the win, while Sigurd Lorange and NyGel Boozer added 12 and 11-points respectively.  
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 7-10 overall and 5-4 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off a 75-68 win over Lees-McRae on Tuesday night.
• Trey Smith led the Valkyries with 21-points off the bench, while Jay Mitchell finished second on the team with 19-points. Bosko Bojovic finished a rebound short of recording his fourth straight double-double, but kept his double-digit scoring streak alive at eight games. Uzziah Dawkins rounded out the Valkyries double-digit scorers with 11-points on the evening.
• With the win on Tuesday evening, the Valkyries have now set a new single season record for overall wins in a season and home wins in a season.
• Converse is second in the league in total points with 1,229 and they are averaging 72.3 points per game. The Valkyries are fourth in the conference in field goal percentage at .466 and they are second in the conference in three-point field goal percentage at .369. From the free throw line, the Valkyries are shooting .677.
• The Valkyries are averaging 34.6 rebounds per game, 13.3 assists per game, 4.9 steals per game and 1.8 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 13.4 points per game, Bojovic is second on the team with 12.1 points per game and Sigurd Lorange is third on the team with 10.9 points per game. 
• Bojovic leads the team in offensive rebounds (50), defensive rebounds (80), total rebounds (130) and rebounds per game (8.7). Dawkins leads the team with 63 assists and 8 blocks, while Jordan Warlick leads the team with 14 steals on the season.  

 
Mount Olive Notes:

• Mount Olive is 4-11 overall and 2-5 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Trojans are just 2-5 at home this season and they have lost two straight matchups. Most recently, the Trojans lost to Barton 81-78 on Wednesday night.
• Michael Brown kept the Trojans in the game with a 36-point, 7-rebounds, 6-assist effort against the Bulldogs. Trayvon Ferrell scored 11-points to finish second on the team.
• Mount Olive is averaging 81.3 points per game which ranks third overall in Conference Carolinas. The Trojans have made the most three-pointers per game (10.9) in the conference this season and they have the third best three-point field goal percentage at .365.
• Overall the Trojans are shooting .454 from the field and .764 from the free throw line this season.
• Mount Olive is averaging 32.5 rebounds per game, 14.6 assists per game, 5.6 steals per game and 2.4 blocks per game.
• Brown leads the team with 22.1 points per game, Ferrell is second on the team with 14.9 points per game and Shane Peterson is third on the team with 10.7 points per game.
• Ferrell leads the team in offensive rebounds (24) and total rebounds (71), while Brown leads the team in defensive rebounds (49), assists (95) and steals (16).
