The Series:
This will be the second ever meeting between Converse and Belmont Abbey, the Crusaders got the better of the Valkyries with a 102-73 win on January 12^th. Sigurd Lorange had led the Valkyries with 23-points, while Belmont Abbey had five players end the night in double-figures.   
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 5-15 overall and 4-12 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Valkyries are coming off a 62-74 loss to Chowan on Saturday afternoon. Jimmie Sanders III led the team with 18-points off the bench, while Earl Burgess III posted his third double-double of the season against the Hawks.  
• The Valkyries are averaging 67.8 points per game and they are shooting 39 percent from the field. Converse is shooting 29 percent from beyond the arch and 74 percent from the free throw line.
• Converse is averaging 34.0 rebounds per game, 13.7 assists per game, 6.4 steals per game and 3.8 blocks per game.
• Lorange leads the team with 15.1 points per game and 71 assists on the season. The sophomore guard is tied for the team lead in steals with 27 on the season. Jimmie Sanders III is second on the team in points per game with 11.8, and is second on the team with 70 assists.
• Earl Burgess III is third on the team with 9.0 points per game and leads the team with 38 blocks on the season. Elijah Pitts is fourth on the team in scoring with 8.8 points per game and leads the team with 130 rebounds and is tied for the lead in total steals with 27.  

 
Belmont Abbey Notes:

• Belmont Abbey is 13-8 overall and 11-6 in Conference Carolinas action.
• The Crusaders have won four straight games and have scored at least 89-points since coming back from the Holiday break.
• Belmont Abbey is coming off a 95-76 win over Erskine on Saturday afternoon. Five players crossed the double-digit threshold for the Crusaders in the win.
• The Crusaders are averaging 87.5 points per game and they are shooting 53 percent from the field. Belmont Abbey is connecting on 42 percent of their three-pointers this season and 66 percent of their free throw attempts.
• Belmont Abbey is averaging 40 rebounds per game, 16.1 assists per game, 7.5 steals per game and 4.4 blocks per game.
• Four players are averaging double-digits in the scoring column for the Crusaders this season, Sean Halloran (14.4 ppg), Quest Aldridge (12.7 ppg), Chandler Baker (12.6 ppg) and Mario Lacy Jr (12.4 ppg).
