The Series:
This will be the second ever meeting between Converse and King University. The Valkyries won a thrilling 77-73 come from behind victory over the Tornado back in November. Converse outscored King 50-33 in the second half to complete the win in front of the Valkyries home crowd. Jordan Warlick led the team with 19-points, Jimmie Sanders III contributed 16-points and Earl Burgess III posted a double-double with 12-points and 10-rebounds.

• Converse is 6-20 overall and 5-17 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Valkyries are coming off a 56-92 loss to Southern Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. Elijah Pitts led the team with 16-points, while Burgess III contributed 14-points in the loss.
• The Valkyries are averaging 69.0 points per game and they are shooting 40 percent from the field. Converse is shooting 30 percent from beyond the arch and 72 percent from the free throw line.

• King is 12-14 overall and 9-13 in Conference Carolinas play this season.
• The Tornado are 7-4 at home this season and they are coming off a 68-69 home loss to Barton on Saturday afternoon.
• King is averaging 83.5 points per game this season and they are shooting 46 percent from the field. The Tornado is also shooting 34 percent from the three-point line and 67 percent from the free throw line.
• The Tornado are averaging 38.1 rebounds per game, 121.3 assists per game, 9.3 steals per game and 3.3 blocks per game.
