The Series:
This will be the second ever meeting between Converse and Southern Wesleyan. The Warriors got the better of the Valkyries in the first matchup of the season, with an 83-42 win over Converse on December 3^rd. Earl Burgess III (Spartanburg, S.C.) was the only Valkyrie to reach double figures in the loss to the Warriors that night.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 6-16 overall and 5-16 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Valkyries are coming off their first ever road win on Wednesday night with a 95-65 win against Erskine College. The win was also marked the most points scored in school history and the largest margin of victory in a game.
• Jordan Warlick (Irmo, S.C.) led the team with a 24-point and 17-rebound performance against the Flying Fleet. Elijah Pitts (Gainesville, Ga.) finished second on the team with 16-points, while Burgess III and Jay Mitchell (Clemmons, N.C.) each scored 15 and 14-points respectively.  
• The Valkyries are averaging 69.6 points per game and they are shooting 40 percent from the field. Converse is shooting 30 percent from beyond the arch and 73 percent from the free throw line.
• Converse is averaging 34.2 rebounds per game, 14.4 assists per game, 6.2 steals per game and 3.6 blocks per game.
• Sigurd Lorange leads the team with 14.8 points per game and is second on the team with 83 assists on the season. Jimmie Sanders III is second on the team in points per game with 11.9, and leads the team with 101 assists.
• Burgess III is third on the team in points per game (10.4) but leads the team with 41 total blocks. Elijah Pitts leads the Valkyries with 161 total rebounds and 34 steals on the season.  

 
Southern Wesleyan Notes:

• Southern Wesleyan is 16-8 overall and 14-6 in Conference Carolinas action.
• The Warriors are 6-3 at home this season and they are coming off a 75-72 win over Emmanuel on Wednesday night.
• Southern Wesleyan is averaging 77.9 points per game and is shooting 45 percent from the field this season. The Warriors are also shooting 37 percent from the three-point range and 69 percent from the free throw line.
• The Warriors are averaging 37.1 rebounds per game, 14.3 assists per game, 6.8 steals per game and 2.7 blocks per game.
• A trio of players are scoring in double-figures for Southern Wesleyan this season, Demarcus Addie (17.8 ppg), Ta'Jay Dunlap (17.3 ppg) and Julian Cameron (11.8 ppg).
• Tranard Ferrell leads the team with 162 total rebounds and 29 blocks this season. Davion Bradford leads the team with 54 assists and 46 steals.
