The Series:
This will be the second meeting in 72 hours between Barton and Converse. The two teams squared off in a thrilling match at Barton on Friday night, with the Bulldogs edging out the Valkyries 75-67. Earl Burgess III (Spartanburg, S.C.) scored a career high 20-points in the loss, while Jordan Warlick (Irmo, S.C.) posted his first double-double of the season.  
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 5-18 overall and 4-15 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Valkyries are coming off an 83-71 loss to Francis Marion on Saturday afternoon. Jimmie Sanders III (Dallas, Texas) led the Valkyries with 16 points, Burgess III finished second on the team with 14 points and Elijah Pitts (Gainesville, Ga.) contributed 10 points in the loss.
• The Valkyries are averaging 68.3 points per game and they are shooting 40 percent from the field. Converse is shooting 30 percent from beyond the arch and 71 percent from the free throw line.
• Converse is averaging 34.0 rebounds per game, 14.0 assists per game, 6.0 steals per game and 3.7 blocks per game.
• Sigurd Lorange leads the team with 15.3 points per game and is second on the team with 76 assists on the season. The sophomore guard is also tied for the team lead in total steals with 28. Sanders III is second on the team in points per game with 11.9 and leads the team with 90 assists.
• Burgess III is third on the team in points per game (10.1) but leads the team with 41 total blocks. Elijah Pitts leads the Valkyries with 143 total rebounds on the season.

• Barton is 11-12 overall and 9-10 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Bulldogs last game was a 75-67 win over Converse on Friday night in Barton.  
• Barton is averaging 81.2 points per game this season and they are shooting 45 percent from the field. The Bulldogs are shooting 31 percent from the three-point line and 72 percent from the free throw line.
