The Series:
This will be the first ever meeting between Converse and Barton after their first game of the season was postponed to this coming Monday. Converse and Francis Marion are meeting for the second time in a three-week span. The Patriots beat the Valkyries 72-68 back on January 22^nd inside the Weisiger Center.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 5-16 overall and 4-13 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Valkyries are coming off a 96-79 loss to Belmont Abbey on Tuesday night. Four Valkyries ended the night in double-figures, Earl Burgess III (18 pts), Sigurd Lorange (18 pts), Jay Mitchell (17 pts) and Jimmie Sanders III (14 pts).
• The Valkyries are averaging 68.3 points per game and they are shooting 39 percent from the field. Converse is shooting 29 percent from beyond the arch and 73 percent from the free throw line.
• Converse is averaging 33.7 rebounds per game, 13.6 assists per game, 6.2 steals per game and 3.8 blocks per game.
• Lorange leads the team with 15.3 points per game and 76 assists on the season. The sophomore guard also leads the team in total steals with 28. Jimmie Sanders III is second on the team in points per game with 12.0, and is second on the team with 74 assists.
• Burgess III is third on the team in points per game (9.4) but leads the team with 39 total blocks. Elijah Pitts leads the Valkyries with 134 total rebounds on the season.  

 
Barton Notes:

• Barton is 10-12 overall and 8-10 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• The Bulldogs are 5-7 at home this season and they are coming off a 79-72 win over Chowan on Tuesday night.
• Barton is averaging 81.5 points per game this season and they are shooting 45 percent from the field. The Bulldogs are shooting 31 percent from the three-point line and 72 percent from the free throw line.
• The Bulldogs are averaging 36.6 rebounds per game, 14.3 assists per game, 7.2 steals per game and 4.7 blocks per game.
• Barton has four players averaging in double-figures this season, Malik Bryant (18.3 ppg), Donaven Hairston (16.9 ppg), Marcus Boykin (13.5 ppg) and Trevon Spencer (11.2 ppg).

• Francis Marion is averaging 74.1 points per game this season and they are shooting 43 percent from the field. The Patriots are shooting 32 percent from the three-point line and 67 percent from the free throw line.
• As a team the Patriots are averaging 37.3 points per game, 14.9 assists per game, 8.7 steals per game and 2.9 blocks per game.
• Francis Marion has four players averaging double-figures in the scoring column this season, Tionne Rollins (13.8 ppg), Jonah Pierce (12.8 ppg), Nick Silva (12.1 ppg) and Alex Cox (11.6 ppg).
